Love That Bulldog

Purchase Contract

Health Agreement 1 Year Guaranteed Love That Bulldog

Your puppy has been checked by the Seller's veterinarian, and has had all its current vaccinations, including deworming.  A Health Certificate illustrating the vaccinations and certifying your puppy's good health is provided to you upon purchase and exchange of the puppy. The proper care of the puppy must include providing the puppy with a timely and completed series of all vaccinations recommended by a licensed veterinarian.  All veterinary charges incurred by the Buyer for the treatment of the puppy for health maintenance or acute medical care are the sole responsibility of the Buyer and will under no circumstances be paid by or due from the Seller.  If the Buyer fails to comply with these terms or fails to employ the services of a licensed veterinarian for the initial or continued care of the puppy, this agreement and the noted guarantee is void.  Please do not take your puppy to any place until it has had ALL its vaccinations recommended by your vet to ensure immunity against communicable diseases such as PARVO. This means DO NOT expose your puppy to any unvaccinated dogs or those who may not have their vaccinations up to date.  Additionally, do not take your puppy to areas where unvaccinated animals are or may have been until your puppy has been FULLY VACCINATED.  You cannot be too careful, and we are not responsible for any disease, or any related expenses incurred by the Buyer due to failure to comply with these terms or for any disease contracted once the puppy is in your possession.

Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free of any signs of infection and any contagious or communicable diseases at time of purchase.   Additionally, your puppy is guaranteed to be free from any life-threatening congenital defects for one year from its date of birth.  As part of this agreement, you are required to have the puppy examined by your veterinarian within 14 days (about 2 weeks) from the date of purchase/receipt of the puppy. The Buyer's non-compliance with promptly having the puppy examined by a veterinarian following the exchange of the puppy will void the instant health agreement.  In the unlikely event that it is found that the puppy was unfit for sale, you are required to notify the Seller in writing within 2 business days of such a finding and are also required to provide all veterinarian records evidencing any such findings.

This guarantee DOES NOT apply to defects that are related to brachycephalic breeds such as eye and respiratory problems. Some of these problems include such as hypoplastic trachea (narrow trachea) everted laryngeal saccules, stenotic nares (narrow nostrils), elongated soft palates, laryngeal collapse, Hypoglycemia, Coccidiosis, parasites, viral or bacterial infections, allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, inverted tail or eye irritations such as Trichiasis, Entropion, Distichal, Pigmentary Keratitis or cherry eye.  Additionally, this guarantee does not cover any health disorders caused by the environment the puppy is put in. Any disorder caused by the puppy's surroundings is not covered. We will not guarantee against heat stroke, as bullies must have air conditioning.  Additionally, there is no guarantee for hip or joint problems that are not deemed to be congenital, as such problems can result from various other factors such as excessive weight problems, continuous jumping by the animal from elevated areas, etc.? which can injure the animal's joints.

Should it be determined that the puppy suffers from a life threatening congenital defect, the Seller agrees to exchange the puppy within the one year period from its date of birth, in the event that both the Seller's veterinarian and the Buyer's veterinarian opine that the puppy has a physical congenital problem that is considered to be life threatening to include: severe hip dysplasia which hampers the dog's movement and natural gait requiring surgical intervention, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a severe, life threatening or altering nature. The Buyer agrees to notify the Seller of any problems upon their onset or within 2 business days of any such findings by a licensed vet and must also provide a copy of the veterinary report and findings to the Seller at that time.  If the puppy should die within the one-year time frame from its date of birth, the Buyer must agree to have a necropsy on the dog at the Buyers expense to determine the cause of death. The Buyer must provide a signed certificate from the veterinarian stating the cause of death and a copy of ALL the puppy's health records including the necropsy report.  If the findings substantiate that the cause of death was due to a congenital defect, thereby causing the death, then the Seller agrees to replace the puppy with another, mutually agreed upon by both parties and from comparable bloodlines, as soon as one is available.  It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the same parents as the original puppy.

***Research the breed and understand the conformation of the breed invites certain problems***

The Seller does not guarantee that your puppy will be able to sire or whelp puppies.  There is NO GUARANTEE on the color or size of your puppy now or as an adult.  If you euthanize the puppy without the Seller's written consent, the subject guarantee is VOID.

If for any reason you are unable to care for your pet, the Buyer agrees that the Seller has the first right of refusal, and the pet will be returned to the Seller.  The Buyer understands that NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN for the returned pet.  The pet must be returned in good condition and the Buyer agrees to pay for all applicable shipping expenses associated with the return of the animal.

The Seller will try and work with the Buyer to ensure satisfaction. This will be at the Seller's discretion. The Buyer agrees that in the event any problems arise between the Seller and the Buyer relating to the subject agreement thereby requiring third party or court intervention, the proper venue for any such proceedings will be in Polk County, Florida.

THE BUYER CERTIFIES THAT THEY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT.  FURTHER, THE BUYER UNDERSTANDS THAT THEIR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL RENDER THE AGREEMENT AND ANY GUARANTEE NULL AND VOID
